Expand Your Network

For the Group developed and actively manages The List, a searchable database of Black, Indigenous, Mixed, and People of Color (BIMPOC) Theatre Practitioners based in the Chicagoland area.

The List includes information such as work experience, portfolios, and resumes to make filling open positions easier, while expanding everyone's professional network.

Those who want access to The List must demonstrate engagement with anti-racism work, and engage with our best practices and guidelines as part of their application process.

About The List by FTG

Galvanized by the national uprising in defense of Black lives in the spring of 2020 and the need for a long overdue reckoning with racial issues in our city and industry, a group of Chicago theatre professionals launched this resource to uplift the work of BIMPOC Practitioners. We were directly inspired by the national list of BIPOC Theater Designers and Technicians created by Megan Sandberg-Zakian, but felt that a more curated and localized list would be beneficial to our community. We hope that this resource can be of help to you, whether you are a Practitioner or a List Accessor.
